Dick Cheney essentially got on teevee today and begged for another attack...
Edited on Thu May-21-09 09:53 PM by Triana
....so he and Rummy, Tenet, and their GOP of terrorists could have an ego boost, so they could wag their self-righteous fingers at the rest of us and at Obama and blubber: "SEE, we were right! Obama is wrong! He has FAILED to protect this country! You need REPUBLICANS to protect you!"

Omygod they're just CHOMPING AT THE BIT to have another attack. They're probably out there provoking one (AGAIN - bu$hit planned to invade Iraq BEFORE 9-11 because - well - remember the CASPIAN PIPELINE - you know - OIL?) just so they can get their narcissistic supply and get back in power. It's the only way it'll ever happen.

THAT is what this whole blustering rampage of DICKhead's is about - they WANT another attack. That's the ONLY way they can get back into power and they KNOW it.

"Terrorists" and the GOP - they're on the same team, folks - no diff. NOT. ONE. IOTA.

We were attacked on 9-11 - and then we were ATTACKED AGAIN by our own government. Raped. And raped AGAIN by "the system" that is ostensibly in place to "protect us".

Disaster capitalism? Youbetcha.

1. I thought that he was hoping for another attack also
isn't that sad ...

He really doesn't want the history he earned.

2. what really scared Bushco was that they had dismissed OBL as a Clinton preoccupation
I don't hear anyone reminding Cheney... or the public ... of that.

12. Of course not. I remember Republicans ridiculing Clinton as he TRIED to do something...
...about Islamic extremists and OBL - Republicans were more interested in pursuing a blowjob than OBL or terrorists.

3. He is under NO legal threat, so what other explanation can there be for this behavior?
He knows something we don't know and he's trying to use what he knows to his and his FOREIGN masters' advantage.

13. As useful as OBL was to them...and still is, obviously
I don't doubt it.

Tinfoil hat? Maybe. But there isn't a THING I'd put past him or the GOP. Nothing.

17. People who do what they did with the Invasion & Occupation of Iraq WILL DO ANYTHING.
Americans MUST get this into their heads. These people cannot be trusted under any circumstances.

5. This treasonous monster has crossed the line again and again.
People have cautiously suggested some "paranoid" stuff on DU tonight, but given what this man and his cohorts have already gotten away with- torture, trumped up war, forgeries, outing CIA agents, assasinations, etc., and that's just the tip of the iceberg, I would not be surprised if he had some people (remember his talking about putting a 'shadow government in place 2002?) who were willing to pull a mini Operation Northwoods or plan a coup. The did it before in 2000 and 2001, and yes, I'm going there.

7. Gawd, I wish he'd just pretend he died, and fly off to live with Ken Lay in the Cayman Islands
Edited on Thu May-21-09 10:12 PM by Atman
Really, Dick. You've got a bad ticker. Use it to your advantage. Ken Lay's guest room is waiting for you. You can sit by the beach in your Sans-A-Belt Bermuda shorts and knee-high support hose and Tevas and talk about the good old days over a Scotch and Metamucil cocktail.

Fuck off Dick. Get off my teevee machine.

8. I think that is the hope of
the Republicons, they send out Cheney about the most unpopular American alive. What do they have to loose? If nothing happens it doesn't matter it's just Cheney if there is an attack their bet pays off big time.

9. That's what they're doing - hoping and praying for another attack...
....it's so obvious. I saw DICK today and that was the first thing I thought - "this jackass is just hoping and wishing and asking for another attack so he can say "Obama failed" and so his own terrorist cabal can be back in power in this country again.

14. I imagine the Obama Administration isn't ignoring the intelligence like they did
Whether we agree with everything Obama has done we have to admit that he moved very quickly to consolidate his Presidential power in DC. He surrounded himself with people who've been there since Clinton's Administration and that means they're old hands when it comes to Al Qaeda and Bin Laden's history. I bet Obama hit the ground running with the daily intelligence top secret briefings and has already started setting thing in motion to improve it and to defend the US and it's assets all over the world.

I really imagine he already knows as much as any President ever has. And I imagine he has plenty of special ops working in various parts of the world. Remember how he dealt with the pirates?
