Anyone been to WOLFTRAP in Vienna, Va.?

My wife and I are going tomorrow night to see "Prairie Home Companion" (my birthday gift to her)

So I have google driving instructions- are there locally know better routes?

Parking?

We are going to take a bottle of wine and a picnic.

1. Yes...saw Brian Wilson there a few years ago.

It's a beautiful mid-sized venue. I don't remember any parking issues or any complaints at all concerning the place.

2. Go VERY early.......

I trust you're on the lawn, not in reserved seating?

GO EARLY. The weather's gonna be lovely, so you'll be fine, but the parking is nightmarish and so is getting out after the show. Be patient.

But, really, go early.

It's such a great place. Have a wonderful time ....................

5. Yes we are on the lawn

didn't pull the trigger on down front seats. A day later we got lawn seats.

3. Bring good shoes...

The hike, up a fairly good grade hill, from the car parking to the venue can be long. Be sure to wear good walking shoes.
