Darth Vader's approval up 8 pts from January??? WTF???
..........Thirty-seven percent say they have a favorable opinion of Cheney, up eight points from January when he left office.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The same day Dick Cheney delivered a major speech on the battle against terrorism, a new national poll suggests that favorable opinions of the former vice president are on the rise.

But the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Wednesday morning, indicates that a majority of Americans still have an unfavorable opinion of Cheney.

Fifty-five percent of people questioned in the poll say they have an unfavorable opinion of the former vice president. Thirty-seven percent say they have a favorable opinion of Cheney, up eight points from January when he left office.

In the past two months the former vice president has become a frequent critic of the new Administration in numerous national media interviews.

“Is Cheney’s uptick due to his visibility as one of the most outspoken critics of the Obama administration? Almost certainly not,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “Former President George W. Bush's favorable rating rose six points in that same time period, and Bush has not given a single public speech since he left office.”

BUT THEN THERE'S THIS: The poll suggests that 41 percent of Americans hold a favorable opinion of the former president, with 57 percent viewing him unfavorably.

AND THEN MY POLL......what the h*ll is he doing out of jail!!! :grr: :grr:

2. The poll is faulty and inaccurate
And please no handwringing. I had to deal with enough of that in the campaign.

silly me, guess I better just stop watching and reading "the news", was doing pretty good there for awhile, but I so easily slip back into my old ways. Thanks, and I'm over my handwringing. :fistbump:

3. Weren't his "approval ratings" in the teens or twenties when he left office?
and more importantly, why the f**k are the rest of us supposed to care exactly what his "approval ratings" are when he isn't even in office anymore (supposedly)?*
:wtf:

*I know the answer, it just pisses me off to have this torture supporter running around the country and being given all of these TV appearances and other forums to attack President Obama.

5. I don't believe the soundness of this poll. Another case of the M$M manufaturing
consent.

6. Don't let this freak you out, and here's my opinion why:
Shrub's approval rating went up a few points, too.

IMO, it's low info voters who don't pay much attention and when they are asked this question it is more of a nicety -- kind of like, they are out of the WH and can't do much more harm, so I might as well just say the nice thing about them.

That's the way I see it, anyway.

7. An old adage applies --- "There's no such thing as bad press."

The MSM keeps giving Cheneyburton the Evil credibility just by keeping his creepy mug pasted
on our TV screens, PC's, mags, and newspapers. El Creepo figures he can't lose and he's right.
