I Think Cheney Just Made Matters Worse
for the REpublicans, that is.

Prior to the speeches, Americans overwhelmingly trust Obama on National Security and overwhelmingly distrust Cheney on just about everything.

He's throwing red meat to the base and Fox News.

Everybody else just sees a bloody mess.

My zwei pfennig.

7. Whatever -- toss us unsophisticates Mein Zwei Clue, por favor
Edited on Thu May-21-09 01:25 PM by SpiralHawk
I mean, Huh?

PS - The OP has a good point -- Five-Deferments Cheney exacerbated the polarities, tossing tortured meat to the Homelander freeps who abide here in America and who want America to FAIL, the way the homelanders FAILED under Commander AWOL Bush and Dickie Deferments

Dickie Deferments -- Darling of the Homelanders -- is altogether unsubtle in that regard, much like the other REPUBLICON Homelander 'heros' Rush 'Ass-pimple deferment' Limbaugh, and the overpaid Chickenhawk shirkers like O'Reilly, Hannity, and Beck

Cheney may be good for us in a cod liver oil sort of way.

3. Agreed.
He didn't end up with a 15% approval rating by coincidence.

Few people believed him when he was VP, and even fewer are likely to believe him when a popular POTUS with high approval ratings is contradicting him.

6. The whores in the M$M are insisting that his ratings are magically up to 39%.
I swear, they MANUFACTURE this bullshit. :grr:

14. Yeah, they also touted a Gallup Poll that had Pro-Lifers in the US at 51%
but had the same number of Republicans as Democrats in the demographic data and was thus and outlier.

Probably something similar going on with their magical 39%, too.

5. Cheney only had FICTION to draw upon intelligence and military operations.
As I was listening to him, I immediately flashed back to Col Kilgore, a FICTIONAL character in the flick "Apocalypse Now." Cheney, a COWARD, who hasn't served one damn day in the REAL Military is behaving like FICTIONAL characters.

HE LIVES IN FICTION: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPcSDyaoQn0

Truth is, I served in the AD Army and my brother served in the Airborne Infantry during Vietnam. We both agree, the REAL LIFE "Col. Kilgore" types were mostly FRAGGED early on into the conflict.

Cheney is living in a fantasy world and the M$M are treating him AS IF, he's SANE instead of IRRELEVANT and TOTALLY DELUDED.

Both Cheney and some within our M$M are, IMO, bordering on TREASON.

8. I hope that you are correct . The fact that the media is still selling his dirty shorts is awful.
The amazing thing is that under his administration, if any of us had spoken out like he does, we would have been disappeared so fast it would make your head spin. He has rights that no one else in this country has. Rights that he doesn't believe Americans are entitled to. Go figure.

15. A strong point in all this,
though, is..cheney is "emboldening the enemy"(the dick's words whenever anyone criticized him when he was in power)with the collaberation of the US CORPORATEMEDIAWHORES.

And, they're getting away with it unless we all ask them :wtf:?
