They lied about Torture, WMD, Iraq 9/11 connection, spying on American citizens,
the recession/depression and hundreds of other things.

Why would the Bush gangsters tell the truth about Nancy? Why wouldn't they keep right on lying, like Cheney does every time he gets in front of a camera, to cover their asses and save their cowardly criminal hides?

Do you trust The Republicans? Do you trust the same CIA that gave Bush all the false/manufactured information that he demanded of them, in order to instigate a war of aggression against a country that posed little or no threat to America? If you committed war crimes wouldn't you lie to get out of paying for it?

At least that's what the minders tell us in the DU Dungeon.

3. Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 or Bin Laden...
But Cheney tried to prove the PNAC's case for invading Iraq by using torture on unarmed prisoners of war, to get them to lie about the Iraqi 9/11 connection.

8. We need to find out what the TRUTH is, wherever it leads us!
Or our country is nothing but a stinking, rotting, corpse of the once good thing that the founders envisioned.(To not look back and attempt to make right these terrible wrongs, is the kind of change that the terrorists who sat out to destroy the real America, can chalk up as a win.)(To not look back invites an even worse disaster ahead for the unsuspecting, innocent, generations to come in this country, IMHO.)

If Nancy lied, why is that worse than Bush's lies? Nobody is talking about that? It is just another distraction the Republicans are putting out because they have nothing positive to offer.

6. The only thing that I can remember Nancy "lying" about was...
the time, when she was explaining why impeachment was "Off The Table" that she said Bush and the Bush family were "Good People"...and maybe she believed that bullshit back then, even after all she'd seen? I'll bet she don't believe that "Good People" crap anymore.

As was posted, their "message" is she lied. We have to focus on their messages, which are more distractions than anything else. Our message needs to be more focused.

45. Thank YOU!
It's about time someone said it. I'm not saying she's right, but I think she's getting a lot more shit than she deserves. The circumstances around how and what she found out put her between a rock and a hard place. I don't think she had many favorable options at the time.

Why aren't we more focused on prosecuting the BUSH ADMINSTRATION for torture. This whole Pelosi thing is a big red herring. I'm tired of hearing about her, I want to see the Republicans who actually perpetrated this clusterf**ck in prison for life.

Because it reaches Bush and Cheney, and there is no way left to hang little guys!

9. Will Porter Goss be prosecuted for lying to Congress? Let's turn up that heat!
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5671623

Never mind his participation in Latin American Death Squads ....

"We don't torture"

On March 18, 2005, Reuters reported that Porter Goss "defended his spy agency's current interrogation practices but could not say all methods used as recently as last December conformed to U.S. law.

"U.S. officials do not view torture as a method for gaining vital intelligence, Goss said. But he acknowledged some CIA operatives may have been uncertain about approved interrogation techniques in the past."

Goss told the Senate Armed Services Committee "'The United States does not engage in or condone torture, ... I know for a fact that torture is not productive. That's not professional interrogation. We don't torture.'"

12. Trust in government is all but extinct in America...
The terrorists from within are always at work too. Shocking how the neocons used the 9/11 attack to terrorize America into almost becoming a full fledged dictatorship. Look at what the NeoCons and the PNAC/OSP operatives did after 9/11 and then look at the definition of terrorism...

terrorism –noun

1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.

2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.

3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/terrorism

***********************

"1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes." Bush and Cheney demanded that congress grant them sweeping new power, which they abused, demanded that congress pass the patriot acts I and II
"2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization." The system of checks and balances was neutralized by threats, political intimidation and false terror alerts.

"3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government." The GOP and Dick Cheney are still on FOX every day trying to scare people into doing what best serves Cheney and the neocons. They should support the duly elected president of the United states, but they are on TV 24/7 trying to undermine everything he does, even though the country is at war.

The bully boys have loved dishing it out all these years, but they cry like little whipped puppies when they get a little taste of their own meddies.

Criminals belong in jail or they go right on committing crimes the magnitude of which increases each time they get away with breaking the law. "Not looking back" at crimes would mean that nobody in jail in America today, belongs there.(or is jail just for poor people?) Do we turn all those murderers and rapists and robbers we have locked up today loose on society? HELL No! And for a damned good reason...hardened criminals are a threat to sicoiety...PERIOD! Lying to start wars, the Premeditated killing of thousands and TORTURE are crimes!

29. Our "Leaders" haven't done a lot of trust earning lately...
They promise you anything to get the job, but once election day is over, the lobbyists own and operate MOST of them.

Take the credit card vote just the other day for example...the banks won...the voters lost. Happens ALL the time.

If you lied to an employer the way the politicians lie to the voters, you wouldn't last one day on the job.

Maybe we should all follow their example and lie about everything too? Maybe our kids should start lying like Cheney or Bush or Tony Blair or the CIA people who sold us that war in Iraq? What if your kids decided it's okay to torture the dog or the cat or the little fat kid down the street?

One hell of a tent. I'd give the snake handlers a break though. I'd say they're mostly benign.

Now I can see just how crucial it is to rise above the scum and make things laughable. I get so serious about it all, I just beat myself up.

But then when one has lived through the drug war, and sees Rove giving Congress the bird, and smiling away on FIXed Noise, it really makes it hard to laugh.

What we need is uniform justice. Ah hell, we're just a bunch of baboons. I saw a documentary tonight, and they are just brutal. It's comical to see how they run around ripping kids and women off. They avoid the men, and run around like simian gangsters. What makes humans think they're so special? Monkeys!

So thus ends another day. Thank you folks. May tomorrow bring indictments. :)

Jails are for the poor...the ones who can't afford the high dollar shyster lawyers, like the ones who legalized torture and murder for bush and cheney.

The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder

Vincent Bugliosi

The Legal Framework for the Prosecution

That the king can do no wrong is a necessary and fundamental principle of the English constitution. -Sir William Blackstone, Commentaries on the Laws of England, 1765

No living Homo sapiens is above the law. -(Notwithstanding our good friends and legal ancestors across the water, this is a fact that requires no citation.)

With respect to the position I take about the crimes of George Bush, I want to state at the outset that my motivation is not political. Although I've been a longtime Democrat (primarily because, unless there is some very compelling reason to be otherwise, I am always for "the little guy"), my political orientation is not rigid. For instance, I supported John McCain's run for the presidency in 2000. More to the point, whether I'm giving a final summation to the jury or writing one of my true crime books, credibility has always meant everything to me. Therefore, my only master and my only mistress are the facts and objectivity. I have no others. This is why I can give you, the reader, a 100 percent guarantee that if a Democratic president had done what Bush did, I would be writing the same, identical piece you are about to read.

Perhaps the most amazing thing to me about the belief of many that George Bush lied to the American public in starting his war with Iraq is that the liberal columnists who have accused him of doing this merely make this point, and then go on to the next paragraph in their columns. Only very infrequently does a columnist add that because of it Bush should be impeached. If the charges are true, of course Bush should have been impeached, convicted, and removed from office. That's almost too self-evident to state. But he deserves much more than impeachment. I mean, in America, we apparently impeach presidents for having consensual sex outside of marriage and trying to cover it up. If we impeach presidents for that, then if the president takes the country to war on a lie where thousands of American soldiers die horrible, violent deaths and over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians, including women and children, even babies are killed, the punishment obviously has to be much, much more severe. That's just common sense. If Bush were impeached, convicted in the Senate, and removed from office, he'd still be a free man, still be able to wake up in the morning with his cup of coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice and read the morning paper, still travel widely and lead a life of privilege, still belong to his country club and get standing ovations whenever he chose to speak to the Republican faithful. This, for being responsible for over 100,000 horrible deaths?* For anyone interested in true justice, impeachment alone would be a joke for what Bush did. Read More...
