An East County teacher is in legal hot water after he allegedly sent offensive photos and texts to a female student.
Foothills Christian High School teacher Evan Stecklair, 26, sent inappropriate text messages to a 16-year-old girl, then sent her two pornographic photos, according to investigators
Steckler was arrested May 2. He has been charged with three felony counts of attempted seduction of a minor. He was arraigned Monday morning in East County Superior Court, where he pleaded not guilty. He is now free on $50,000 bail.

The teen was was upset about receiving the text and photos she was allegedly sent and told adults, according to police.

"It was traumatic for any 16-year-old.... very disturbing for her," El Cajon police Lt. Tim Henton said.
Foothills Christian High's principal said Stecklair resigned his teaching job four days after his arrest.

Did he think that the girl wouldn't say anything? Was there some relationship going on? I think so. I doubt the guy would send something like that out of the blue to someone he didn't already have a relationship with.

3. do you understand why old guys go after the young girls.... cause they get away with it

sexual intimidation. a girl is use to being nice. she doesnt know how to look in the eye and say fuck you dude, unlike the women in their twenties and beyond. they are preditors. they go after the youth for a reason casue girls are embarrassed, intimidated or complimented because of youth. i have experienced it, and have watched it done with a number of girls.

7. When I was 16 a 26 year old wasn't an "old guy" but the teacher

relationship made it a perverted power play even if she was in a state where 16 was age of consent.
But heck I am really talking about making a pass, not porno pictures over the web. Unless people are intimately involved or the picture is invited between ADULTS sending that is sick no matter how old the person...let alone a teen.
