Bush is basically saying that we have to constantly fund the war
It seems as though the experts are saying however that they can go without funding for a while without any ill effects.

Why must we constantly throw money away? It sounds like embezzlement is going on, I think everyone remembers the missing 9 billion dollars over there.

1. It's funny
cause he also rambled about wanting to balance the budget. Hmm stop funding the pointless war saves about 100 billion a year... and you don't have to raise taxes to stop fighting a war.

8. How can one ignore the 500 Billion $ going to Halliburton, GE, & other weapons makers, contractors
Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 11:35 AM by GreenTea
corporations, republican owned corporations getting paybacks from Bushco with our tax dollars.

Of course they want the war to continue, where else can they make (steal) that kind of money....This is free money for these greedy corporations....

Most of the soldiers pay is already through the Pentagon's 600 billion plus dollars annually....124 billion will make the over 500 billion separate tax dollars from the Pentagon budget that these corporations are just fucking outright stealing.... and so few see it and even less mention it...

Look who is getting rich off this war, as everyone is focused on the just the stealing of Iraqi oil, these same corporations are stealing well over 500 BILLION dollars so far of our tax dollars, by the end of this year.

And next year they'll be asking for more of our tax dollars...People just don't want to admit that it's war for profit.
