Lawrence O'Donnell finally came out and actually defended Pelosi and the notion that the CIA could lie and in fact has been proven to have lied in the past -- and was quite literally laughed out of the discussion and cut off after barely s minute so they trot out another old Torture Party member to explain that MOST of America considers themselves conservative, and explaining how they can regain power.

Shameful even for as shameless a whore as Dead Intern Joe.

2. That torture is being excused or even praised is dismaying at the very least

and very depressing. Yet everyone agrees that looking at the photos is bad for our image and dangerous to our troops. There's a disconnect here that goes beyond rationality and I don't quite understand it yet.

monica novotny was on briefly, and Mika called her "Monica Pelosi", because you "never know what she is going to say next". That prompted the Morning Joe guys to start hissing and making cat noises. BTW, saw Mika on the cover of Newsmax the other day in the bookstore. I didn't read the article, but I heard that she did her usual "the media destroyed Palin!" routine.

4. I've had their show on for the past 1 1/2 hours

and all I've heard them talk about is Nancy Pelosi and what/when she knew of the torture. It's disgusting how they are trying to make her a scapegoat.
