Torture. Why did bush, Inc. have to torture detainees to get them to say

Torture. Why did bush, Inc. have to torture detainees to get them to say
what they wanted "documented", when all they had to do was to take the poor guy into a closed room for an hour or so and then report that he had admitted whatever it was they wanted to feed into their propaganda machine? They could have kept him incommunicado after the "interview", and no one would ever know that the report was bogus.
