Like gay?
I had CNN in the background, but I think that the parents of one of the soldiers killed by that other one was undergoing therapy. And he complained about what he was given to do: pasting paper, or something, and he did not like it, it was like... gay.

2. That guy was freaking out because he figured his retirement was hosed.
If he actually had "twenty one years" like the TV said, he would have been retirement eligible anyway.

The guy must have been a reservist or had broken service, or something. He probably did some active time, and then transitioned to the reserves.

Pity someone didn't talk to him about disability retirement--he could have been home playing checkers with Paw and collecting a check.
