or

2. I don't think it matters.
Headlines don't mean anything anymore. The turn of a phrase and framing is lost in the truth that can be found by careful research on the internet.

3. Far too many people simply read headlines and stop there
Too many people in this nation just read the headlines in the newspaper, on line or listen to the highlights of the nightly news.
They never investigate past those headlines to discover the real truth.

I like the headline "Dems to widen conflict with Bush". He has such low approval ratings it is a plus for Democrats. Almost everyone I know is in favor of conflicting with Chimpy and the wider, the better.
