When he's on TV, he is careful not to give away too much. He seems to be using accessory muscles to help him breath. You can see his shoulders rising. The breath sounds "airy" and slightly raspy. At the end of his segment on CBS with Bob S, he had a wet cough.

I don't mean to try to diagnose him, but he doesn't sound well, at all. His color on tv was hard to judge because of makeup and lighting, but he was more pale than Schieffer.

that Cheney was in a wheelchair at the Inauguration because he could not bring himself to rise for a black man.

But, another friend had a much more compelling theory: that Cheney wanted to stay low and not be such a visible target.

I like yours, actually. His breathing is that of a cardiac patient whose lungs have some fluid in them. Not good. But, Craig Crawford, who appears regularly on Countdown with KO, also has a strange breathing pattern - when he pauses while talking, takes a breath, it sounds like a big brown hole, if you know what I mean. Like maybe bad asthma, or something cardiac.

I hope Craig Crawford is OK. I hope Cheney lives a long time in intractable pain that cannot be alleviated..............
