1. Two reasons you didn't include: 1) he's lazy; and 2) he doesn't give a fuck.

5. Maybe because someone (JEB and Poppy?) told him to keep his mouth shut and
his ass off the tv and front pages. I think he prefers it that way anyway, so that he can get shit-faced whenever he wants to.

8. Oddly enough
I think he's biding his time. I think he knows just what he and his Administration deserves.

Just after Cheney gave his first weekend Sunday show blasting Obama, Bush had his first post-presidency speech and he said that his administration owed Obama silence. I think he was telling Cheney to shut the fuck up. Cheney's not listening of course -- when did Cheney ever listen?

But I'd give it a 20% chance right now that if it comes right down to it, Bush turns himself in.

Well, maybe 5% chance. He's thinking about it, I guarantee you that.

think Bush knows he's a failure. I think people who know they are embarrassments, or failures, are reticent to speak.

One thing I DON'T BELIEVE FOR A SECOND is that a lawyer could ever keep him for spouting off.

It's more likely that Karl Rove could tell him to shut up, but I don't believe that. I think it is dawning on him how horrible a President he was, and how much disdain and contempt the entire world has for him.
