2. It is strange, he's no longer the VP and we see more of him now
than when he was the VP. He was usually hiding out in his cave somewhere.

9. He's so used to the comfortable confines of Fixed News that he's convinced
he's right & everyone else is wrong; he "knows best". He's lied so much, it must be difficult for him to distinguish between reality & his self-rationalization. He doesn't even seem to realize how unpopular he is & that he has no credibility, or he'd never get on television to embarrass himself & his family with obvious lies.

10. He's preparing for heart attack #5
or whatever he's up to now, and wants to meet his maker with a clean (or less filthy) conscience. He's trying to clear up his image by besmirching everyone else. Or he could just want the spotlight.

11. It sure sounds like a veiled threat and extortion
but it isn't He is trying to defend the indefensible. Trying to get his talking points out to water down (no pun intended) the obvious conclusion. "Why won't they release ALL the memos?" is the one that will stick around because ALL the memos can never be released.

12. Because he thinks he can get away with anything and is probably right
Telling people he would torture again (commit war crimes again) is just rubbing America's nose in it. He holds us all in contempt.
