Carrie Prejean -- Who's the Boob Now?

Those topless photos of Miss USA California Carrie Prejean were taken after she turned 18, according to one of her former pageant sponsors. This contradicts Carrie's position that she posed for the pics when she was only 17.

We obtained an email sent by the sponsor (we were asked not to use his name) and he says Carrie sent him one of the topless photos after January 6, 2009, asking "if she was in good enough shape for the Miss USA Pageant." The date is significant, because that's the day Carrie got a boob job. The former sponsor says the pic was post boob job and she was well over 18.

1. I've _never_ believed she was a minor when the photos were taken.

I believe she used the "I was only 17" thing to bully folks into not publishing them on blogs and in print, with the implication being that re-publishing the photos would be tantamount to distributing child porn. The side-boob in the first photo released didn't look like a breast that needed augmentation.

I've become more than a little perturbed at the attacks on Prejean and I'm appalled at the frenzy to dig out pics of her. If that doesn't remind you (generic "you", not necessarily the OP) of what FreeRepublic does when they attack someone, I don't know what does, or you're just clueless. The frenzy around here about Prejean approached FreeRepublic's frenzy over the Bush National Guard memos. Well, maybe not that bad, but it wasn't unlike taking a stick and stirring up a fire ant bed.

Prejean has an opinion and she made the god-awful mistake of expressing it. She may be wrong, but you know what? That's her opinion and she's entitled to express it anywhere she wants. We all have the right to stick our foot in our mouths anytime we want. But I don't believe she was malicious in expressing her opinion and she damn sure doesn't deserve to be attacked as she has been especially to the point of scouring the internet for naked pics of her.

She's not entitled to express her own opinions when she's being Miss CA. She's there to be Miss CA. She lied to the organization. She said there were no pictures, then said that she was 'young and stupid' when she took them in January!
Face it, these gas bag hypocrites need to be called on the carpet about the fact that they are in breach of the religion they use to oppress others. They are not premitted to lie, cheat, and slander. The rules of her religion are for her to follow, not for her to shove at other people.
Her word was false, her witness false. She lies and she cheats. I could spend all day long posting verses from her religion that condemn her for her actions. All day long. So. Those that do not keep a faith have zero standing to spew that faith at others. Those who agree to certain rules to gain a position, who sign a contract, and then ignore their word need to shut the fuck up about what other people do.
She breached her contract with lies and nudity. Praise the Lawd! Facts are not attacks. The truth will set us free!

24. If she was asked about "semi-nude" photos, and...

...none of the photos show her nipples, then she wasn't lying when she said No.

The modeling term for a photo which shows some of a breast but not the nipple is "implied nudity" (if she seems to not be wearing a top.)

It's doesn't matter how much clothing she was wearing, it's what the camera recorded. If a woman is nude when only her face is photographed, that isn't a nude photo.

7. It's not her opinion but her hypocrisy that irks me.

Sure, she's entitled to her opinion, but when she says her opinion is based on her religion and then she turns around and flat out lies, to me, that is pure and simple hypocrisy.

I hate these holier-than-thou religious hypocrites who use the Bible to justify their bigotry while at the same time ignoring the parts of the Bible that apply to them!

And she's put herself in this position. If, after the Miss USA uproar she just let it go, and went about doing her Miss California "duties," that would be one thing, but instead, she decides to become a political activist by teaming up with an anti-gay organization and even making commercials for them! As the saying goes, if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

but when someone gets attacked like she has it has the effect of simultaneously `1) generating sympathy for the attackee and 2) making the attackers look pretty damn nasty and vindictive. Do we want to be perceived as nasty and vindictive? Not me.

I think a "thank you Ms. Prejean for your uninformed and unenlightened opinion, now please excuse us while we go about the business of changing the country. We finished our work in Iowa but there's more states we have to work on." will suffice and leave it at that. Ms. Prejean is anything BUT an opinion maker.

Much more than that is freeperish and I'll defend whoever was attacked. Tolerance runs both ways.

If she had just gone on and did what she promised, which was to work on behalf of the Special Olympics, instead of becoming politically involved in this issue by publicly supporting two hate groups (NOM and Focus on the Family) I think you'd have a point, but that's not what she did.

To make it worse, while proclaiming her morals are better than everyone elses, it turns out she's a bold faced liar.
