Some questions about Single Payer Health Care in the Senate
How many Senators will vote for Single Payer Health Care?

How many Senators will filibuster Single Payer Health Care?

What are the rational expectations of Single Payer Health Care in the Senate?

I'd like to know your Senatorial head count and how you arrived at it.

Thanks.

2. No, indeed. I've been wondering the same thing.
I really don't know but my guess is that there's still a lot of horse trading and discussion/debate going on so it's too soon to see how it will all shake out.

3. I would love to see the House pass H.R. 676 and then force the Senate's hand.
Heck, I would love to see H.R. 676 even come up for a vote in the House.

4. I appreciate your response, but
You did not answer any of my questions.

Do you believe that the Republicans will filibuster single payer?

Do you believe that enough Blue Dog Dems will join the filibuster to kill single payer?

5. My response was to say you are getting ahead of yourself. If we can't
even get a vote in the House who cares what the Senate would do. They sure as hell aren't going to be voting on a Single Payer bill before the House does. Also without a vote and passage in the House the Senate will NEVER be faced with having to vote on one. So a pre-requisite for answering your question is "Say the House passes Single Payer, would we face x, y, z... in the Senate".

So assuming we passed it in the House I think the Blue Dogs would be forced to go along with it in the Senate. The Republicans at this point I feel would be forced to give up instead of forever being the party that voted to keep Americans from getting Health Care.
