Some "fair and balanced" reporting about Nick Berg in my local paper.

You may remember that Nick Berg was beheaded by insurgents in Iraq. Yesterday, they had a memorial for him, followed by a memorial fundraising concert, and of course, the local paper covered it. The local Peace Movement is mentioned, as Berg spoke to them at the memorial. For some reason, the writer thought it would be appropriate to include a quote from the local Freeper-esque "Victory Movement" who protests across the street from the Peace Movement, as well as a quote from Berg's so-called "close friends," who was sure that Berg would have been protesting with the "Victory Movement", not the Peace Movement.

I can only assume the writer was trying to give a "balanced" point of view, but I don't see how that's necessary in this case. The whole article:

...of Bushco ...or was that only after the very odd death of his son? Can't recall off hand.

2. Well, the "Victory Movement" is full of conspiracy theories.

Probably originated with them.
