Solar Minimum, Anti-Climate Cling-ons Latest
Of course you've heard of the Solar Minimum.

http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2009/01apr_deepsolarminimum.htm

It's a natural 11-year cycle in Sun energy output that's been going on for ages. Anti-Human-Caused-Climatic-Change dead enders are fumbling with their newly found "Solar Minimum" toy to explain the rationale, "See Man not do it, Sun do it."

However: The rapid warming since 1970 is several times larger than that expected from any known or suspected effects of the Sun, and may already indicate the growing influence of atmospheric greenhouse gases on the Earth's climate. http://www.gcrio.org/CONSEQUENCES/winter96/sunclimate.html

The Solar Cycle is at a 100-year low and an observably dimmer midday sun can be noted by the trained eye. This is part of a natural cycle. Current Solar Minimum cooling is cited by dead enders as the flip side of the high solar activity of the last few decades with the associated Global Temperature rise. "The Sun Cycle is what drove Global Warming not Human activity," they say.

Fortunately the Solar Minimum may mitigate some effects of Green House gases; unfortunately it will not last as the sun comes back to a higher level of activity and the Global Temperature will trend back upward. Foolishly the Anti's will be all on-board the train going down that wrong Solar Minimum track just as the right train is heading back up the grade.
