Letter Carrier food drive today.

All food collected goes directly to your local community food pantry.
It is a very easy way to give, simply place food items in your mailbox or place it near your mailbox, I hang a plastic grocery bag on my mailbox.

7. Can you still do it if you don't get mail delivery?

The post office in this town doesn't deliver mail. We have to go to the post office to get it. I wonder if they accept food at the post office? I may have to call the post mistress to find out.

... we got a bag in our mailbox yesterday and now it is filled.

Food pantries will be a top priority for the while. I also recommend "Feeding America" for the rest of the year :)

My postman actually came to my door today to deliver some books i ordered, and my tax refund. I'll still find ways to donate, but this would have been a poetically just way to give back.

18. I just put out ~ fifteen pounds of stuff at my mailbox. if he doesn't pick it
