We need to turn this torture debate around to the KEY issue..

Many would argue either way on this debate IF the reason the water boarding was done was to get that key piece of info ( ala Jack Bauer on 24.. where is the bomb hidden, what is the way to disarm it..etc.. etc..) IF it can be shown it was done for POLITICAL reasons.. to try and get info to tie Saddam to Al Qida and 9/11. THAT would be a whole different story.. I have always felt Bush etc did not lie about WMD's.. they did not care!! It was a cover story to get us in.. they figured they were bound to find a couple somewhere in Iraq to cover their asses.. when none were found THAN they realized they needed some kind of cover.. so they tried to tie Saddam to 9/11 ( HELL many still are trying).. They tortured to get of fake that info.. I wish we have public congressional hearings like watergate on this.. but democrats are too wimpy even for that..
