oath –noun, plural oaths 1. a solemn appeal to a deity, or to some revered person or thing, to witness one's determination to speak the truth, to keep a promise
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
All enemies foreign and domestic. Bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution.
Anyone who knew about torture, anyone involved, anyone who put their job, power and money, ahead of what was true and ahead of their allegiance to the Constitution needs to be tossed out on their fucking ass.
The lawyers, the CIA, the politicians, the people who carried out their orders, all put their power, their positions and their finances ahead of their humanity. And every one of them deserves at the very least to lose their fucking jobs. If I had my way every one of them would be on trial. And that includes every single Democrat involved in any way whatsoever.
All this dancing around makes me sick.
