1. Says it all. Ford stock went up after they lost less
than was expected.

2. Next month will tell the tale - if people start going back to work,
the stimulus is kicking in.

4. True...although unemployment rose less..
...than it has in the previous months--there are still a record number of people collecting
unemployment.

That seems to signal that once people are out of a job--they're not moving off the rolls. They're
having a very difficult time finding another job.

3. The media, at the behest of...

...their corporate partners in crime--are twisting every statistic into a silver lining.

If the economic statistic is bad or neutral the mantra is, "Yes, that's not good, but it's not
as bad as we thought. Yeah!! Recovery!!!"

If the economic statistic is horrendously awful they say, "Yes, that's bad, but these statistics
are a snapshot of yesterday and we're moving forward. Recovery....yesssss!"

If the statistic happens to be slightly positive (despite hundreds of other negative economic indicators), then
that sole statistic is used to signify evidence of the most colossal, impressive economic recovery the universe
has ever experienced. "Happy Days are here again!!! Buy!! Buy!!! Buy!!!! Run to Pottery Barn and Home Depot!
Spend those dollars!! Call your broker!! It's party time!!!!!!!!!!"

Frankly, I'm sick of all of this.
