Democrats Line Up to Challenge Bachmann


A rematch between Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and Elwyn Tinklenberg (D) is "almost sure to be one of 2010's most expensive," reports CQ Politics.

Tinklenberg confirmed that he will take another shot at the MN-6 seat after losing to Bachmann by three points.

Tinklenberg's near-upset has also encouraged other Democrats to take a look at the race. Just yesterday, Maureen Reed, the Independent Party's 2006 candidate for lieutenant governor, filed paperwork to run for the Democratic nomination.

Since it's a conservative district you'd think the sane people in the district might try to get a actual non-embarrassment on their ticket. Oh well it's probably too expensive to go after her in a primary:(
