"I'm sorry, Rush. Whatever you say, Rush" (or Mike Pence joins the club)
Limbaugh Endorses GOP ‘Listening Tour’ After Pence Placates Him <= video at link

Yesterday, Rush Limbaugh slammed the GOP’s “listening tour” re-branding effort, saying that the conservative movement does not need to listen to the American people. Rather, Limbaugh declared, “We need a teaching tour.”

Asked about Limbaugh’s rejection of the GOP listening tour today on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN) did not take issue with Limbaugh’s remarks, saying only that the GOP’s objective was to help “educate the American people.” The change in rhetoric appears to have been enough to placate Limbaugh, who strongly endorsed Pence’s new goal on his radio show today:

LIMBAUGH: That is exactly what I’m saying! Scarborough and these guys are trying to twist this. And even Pence says, “Well, we’re going to listen.” Who are they going to listen to? They’re going to listen to experts about cap and trade so they can educate the American people about the truth of it. A teaching tour!

“If you don’t like ‘teaching’... then call it a ‘reminder tour’ or whatever, but someone has to go out and teach the truth about what Obama is doing,” Limbaugh concluded.

At what point does Rush's radio show become an in-kind donation to the DNC?

2. Does anyone else find it ironic that Rush is against listening,
...when he works in RADIO? Major disconnect going on there.

5. It's a bad idea to tacitly turn over your party to someone like Rush.
He's just competent enough to undermine your every move if it strikes his fancy, but not really competent enough to lead the party anywhere.

Eventually, something will end up giving and we'll see some open warfare in Republican ranks.

In the meantime, Hannity, Limbaugh, and host of right wing windbags continue to drive their party further and further to the right which is turning off the center right and peeling off the center completely.
