People ask for answers but nobody really wants to hear them
Universal, single payer healthcare is the only answer but it's not even "on the table".
Accountability begins at the top, hold war criminals accountable or corruption continues unabated.
Get out of Iraq and Afghanistan right now, today! Sorry, we've got to stay there for years.
Banks caused the financial crisis we're in now and yet they get 100s of billions of our money to keep ripping up off.

The answers are all right there, all backed up by the progressive majority of Americans but nobody in our government wants to do any of it. So the real question is: when does the United States become a representative democracy instead of a corporate/government ruled fascist country?

1. When tens of millions of people stand up and make it happen.
Unfortunately, I don't see many that are willing to make the sacrifice.

2. We stood up and voted for change and it didn't happen
We live in a country that refuses to hold torturers accountable, refuses to offer healthcare to everyone, refuses to hold corporate banking criminals accountable for their clear conspiracies. I think our entire national focus is wrong, a propagandized focus that for some odd reason must include the very criminals well-being that have been price-fixing, price-gouging and conspiring to rip us off in every way imaginable.

I fear that America will no longer be a world power in a matter of a few years, we have no credibility, no moral stance, no opportunity for anyone except those will to break the law in every way imaginable. No country can survive very long like this.

3. We will not be a "super-power", probably , ever again, Idiot Frat Boy ensured that.
Our reaction to that, and the litany of criminality that he represents, is really typical for us over the last hundred-and-some years.

I agree that it is wrong, outrageous, but I've been outraged for thirty years.

When enough people feel like we do, it may change, but as long as they are relatively comfortable, Americans rarely demand the change they say they want.

5. No one voted for single payer or get out of afghanistan
none of the major candidates came close to advocating those issues.

I agree with your points but misinformation doesnt help.

4. We need to make sure that Congress does the right thing.
We can't wait for Obama to write an Executive Order making single-payer a reality.
