God that board's formatted so badly it's almost as unreadable as most of their comments.

Let’s hope a vote of the people is allowed.

As Maine goes, so goes Vermont. Now the gays from both states can date each other, get married, and raise. . .well, raise nothing. Another sad day for the new USofA.

Uh, I was under the assumption that the peoples' duly elected representatives voted in favor of this and then their duly elected governor signed it into law. How is that not a "vote of the people"? Or are you really after a "vote of the bigots".

It's shocking that after all their complaints about judges legislating from the bench that their still upset when it's legislated from the Legislature. Actually it's not shocking--they're just bigots.

Anyway, for those with strong stomachs some of their comments are quite a read. They also appear to be sniping at one another a little over whether or not it's a good idea to use fundie arguments when trying to explain their opposition to others.

8. Ha! I almost included a prediction in the OP...
About how many replies would be posted before someone actually said something along the lines of:

"I don't know why some people feel the need to go over there and post this crap here."

6. CA representatives had also voted for marriage
but Ahnuld vetoed it.

Why were the fundies not upset then?

They are just bigots, and to them, anything pro gay is against the "peepul"

12. Civil War? Bring it, you little pussies.
You DO realize that'd entail leaving your mother's basement, don't you?

Yeah, didn't think so.

But if you should ever grow or borrow a pair, we'll be waiting.
