... so yesterday I went to an Internet cafe to check PMs, and read news updates here at DU when I saw dixiegrrrrl's thread. Well, I was too :blush: verklempt :blush: to answer yesterday, but I miss y'all so much that I had to come back to say how much I love and miss y'all. A lot of my favorite DUers are here on this page, though in general, the recent name changes have me confused. I am credited for my visual interpretations of the state of the nation (created for entertainment as much as personal catharsis), however, everyone here has contributed to my work in so many unseen and subtle ways. And, your activism and participation in our fragile, yet dynamic democracy is inspirational to say the least. It is an honor to be counted as a friend among so many thoughtful and giving people.
