Conservative columnist (Debbie Schlussel) calls Sarah Palin the "tabloid candidate"

Debbie Schlussel, who reads like a Nazi in almost every other column she releases, nails Palin to the wall for exploiting her family for political gain.

Pretty fun read although Schlussel probably just painted a target on her forehead for Rush and the FReeps to aim at. I wonder how long before she apologizes to Rush for slamming the one pure hope of conservatism.

She should prepare herself for another shitstorm.

So, for her to tell the truth re: Palin whoring out her family is pretty significant.

Of course, now that she's gone up against the annointed one I'd be interested in how she responds to the oncoming shitstorm that will be unleashed on her as you predict.

3. She's gotten the memo, apparently.

The GOP are going to be moving away from the fringe right, and trying to swipe voters from the middle. They're using Meghan McCain, Michael Steele, and Bobby Jindal to sell the "new" GOP, amongst others. Palin ain't "the way."
