How long did it take Bill Clinton to raise $100 million for his library?
George W Bush has already accomplished that feat. Of course, all of the donors to his library are anonymous. How did he do that?? Are there really that many people that respect his Presidency?

1. I think Rachel said it was over a year last night. And for Bush it's payoffs, not admirers. nt

2. Of course he has lots of rich friends
They "respect" the fact that his lies made them all richer.

3. For that kind of money I'd expect the Bush Library to put Bush on display like a monkey at the zoo.
And all of Bush's papers should go to the Justice Department so we can prosecute every last one of those corrupt rat bastards in the Bush Administration. It would serve as a warning to all future Presidents: Don't do what they did.

4. Payoff for all the rich fuckers he helped in his 8 years
When you have helped the richest people become even richer it is easy to get a few million from them to build a shrine to an asshole.

5. They're trying to buy them some revisionist history.
To save themselves. If Bush goes down in history as The Worst President Ever then what does that say about the corporations that chose to back him? Somebody might get the idea that the judgment of corporations may be flawed, less than supreme.
