What bi-partisanship means to me in this day and age.
To me it means corruption whether you are talking about the banks and economic policy, healthcare reform, the empire project, or the failure to uphold the law when it comes to our elected officials. I will continue to fight for what is right whether I stand alone or with many. I remember a speech Ray McGovern gave to Veterans for Peace when he talked about a protestor of the death penalty that stood in front of prison when someone was being executed. A reporter asked the protestor why he was still wasting his time when he wasn't changing anything. He replied that he may not change the system but that he didn't want the system to change him.

1. It means we have to fight the Blue Dogs or the DLC to get anything done.
And I'm not disagreeing with the OP when I say that.

2. Yep, absolutely.
They were the ones comfortable with what happened and still are.
