They sense the economy is improving and gas is going up. It is $2.09 here and has risen about thirty cents in two weeks. Last year, at this time, it was $3.49. I believe the high prices last summer helped cripple the car industry and push our economy into the crapper. Smite the Oil Companies with a big stick. Windfall profits tax or any other means to keep them from doing this summer what they did last summer. I look forward to the time when petroleum will be much less in demand for fuels.
