NO MONEY FOR YOU!!!
Jeez! How hard is that to understand!??!1!?

You pay your taxes!

AND NO!!! It's not for universal healthcare! It's not for an increase in your social security checks! It's not to help you with your mortgage if you've lost your job!

NO! NONE FOR YOU!

It belongs to the banksters and the elites!

GET OVER IT!

25. I'd say "too rich" is when you can blatantly lie about the reasons
Edited on Sun May-03-09 11:42 AM by The Hope Mobile
to get into war to make more money than you could ever use, cost other people their lives or their loved ones' lives and KNOW that you're untouchable. That's too rich.

PS I'm sure you understand this - I just felt the urge to vent about it again anyway.

36. There is doing bad things with your riches
Or getting rich in immoral ways. I was just talking about being rich itself. Is it bad? Can you be too rich?

37. I understand what you're saying . . . I was just kinda stating the obvious
that it seems that when people get beyond a certain point in wealth its just pretty much got to lead to greed or at least lead you to think you're untouchable - and yes, I'm thinking of the Cheney types especially who, if the truth were known about how much they really made from these wars, etc., would probably be far beyond Bill Gates, etc.. Even if its comparable, Gates probably isn't what I'd call too rich because he worked for it. Cheney made his from corruption and greed on the backs of unsuspecting people.

And like I was saying, this statement was mostly about being frustrated with what they've done to our country and even the global community. Wasn't meant to downplay the importance of your question. Too much to me is when you use it for evil. Not a set dollar amount just a messed up mentality about money.

6. And, people WE elected and pay to work for us have sold their souls to
the insurance companies, banks, pharmaceutical companies, and the war machine cabal.

Time to clean house and senate, again. Try again to get people in there that aren't bought and paid for.

11. In 2010 we will reelect most of the very same people who are now
doing this. We do not learn. We talk bad about the evil they do, we give them bad ratings, and then we give them back their jobs via the ballot box.

Do we really expect any change for the better?

16. I don't vote for incumbents, unless he (or she) has been really
outstanding or the challenger is a proven weasel.

I have written LTTEs to my local paper, and also send emails farily frequently to my senators and repersentative (state and federal.) Don't know how much good any of this does, but it makes me feel better.

22. Here's something that even the far right can agree on
There is a bipartisan acknowledgement that the banks are screwing us, and bailing them out without strings is not the way to go. Why can't we as people, right, left and center, let our senators know they screwed up?

A wave of anger should be coming at them from their constiuents in all parties.

41. This is an ominous chart
The USA would have a hard time expanding military expenditures and has only about 5% of the population.

We have pissed off the World. We are not that smart nor wise. Read the detail of the PNAC Redefining America's Defenses.

Edited on Sun May-03-09 07:44 AM by fasttense
Mr. Republicon: What does that get us? A discontented, lazy rabble instead of a thrifty, working class. And all because a few starry-eyed dreamers like Obama stir them up and fill their heads with a lot of impossible ideas.

Mr. Democrat: Just remember this, Mr. Republicon, that this rabble you're talking about...they do most of the working and paying and living and dying in this country. Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die in a couple of decent rooms and a bath?

It's a wonderful life sure seems to fit.

24. No. No money for THEM
I ain't paying no taxes. I ain't go no job. I stay in the woods and hunt rabbits, they don't get SQUAT. I "lay around the shack till the mail train comes back and I roll in my sweet baby's arms". Then what they going to do?

Kids--I teach them to live in the woods and hunt rabbits too. Teach them how to get a check from the mail train. Then what they going to do? They can't live in the woods and they don't know how to hunt rabbits. Afore long, they going to be beating a path to my boy's house begging for some rabbit stew.

28. $250.00 one time payment for Social Security or SSI
recipients by the end of May. That's what I got in my mailbox. Unless it was just a tease from .gov

Of course it won't stimulate anything except those who I owe money to.

On less than $700.00 a month income, I owe people because a person has to live. Congress probably doesn't even know the price of toilet paper because WE buy that for them.
