9. exactly..all ports in south america...just for the chinese to dump their already cheap labor
products...to move them into north america where we are less and less able even to afford even the CHEAP SHIT from china! I even said..when clinton was president and newt did his 'contract on america'..that there is a lot of money to be made turning the usa into a 3rd world country..and I think I was really prescient...unfortunately!! :grr:

12. Why aren't there more ports on the east side of the two continents?
Surely we have ports in New York, Florida, elsewhere...?

You might be right... just need more proof.

15. Don't care.
We have messed around with them long enough. It's time for us to withdraw and mind our own business for once.

16. we could focus on USA aid, food, jobs? just askin?
Edited on Sat May-02-09 06:44 PM by angstlessk
Mexico not so much, but the rest of South America is making their way without our assistance..they are going national..and not depending on the USA for their betterment..a good idea for all of us. If we all protect ourselves there will be more local and regional cooperation vs globalism which is simply a race to the bottom. globalism has created more poor people all over the the globe by forcing local sustainable communities to produce for cash crops for the hungry global community...IT IS A SIN..AND I AM AN ATHIEST!!!

17. Well, it's a touch misleading
The Euro map is showing all major highways (and a lot of minor ones), while the Americas map is only showing the intercontinental route, even though there's an extensive highway network in the USA which isn't shown at all. It's not like we don't have any roads in California, or like every line on the European map is a 6-lane highway - trust me, they aren't. I get your point though.
