WJ this morning - SCOTUS Nominee: Woman or Minority
The loonies are out but there was a great call from a former GI Latino lawyer who called them out brilliantly. He didn't miss a point.

1. I'm watching it now
He was great, but some of these people really are beyond ignorant!

3. That last caller on the "Dem" line was against gay marriage
And used the RW meme about activist judges

5. I'm tempted to call in
and suggest the next justice be a liberal, gay, woman of color and then just sit back and listen for the heads to explode!

7. I've never attempted to call
I don't think I'd be able to keep my cool and would just come across like a raving lunatic.

4. It's One Of The Few "Powers" They Have Left...
Yelling...throwing tantrums...pushing the talking points. Yesterday, the election really sank in on me. Imagine had Gramps won and this had been his pick :scared:.

It doesn't seem too long ago the shoe was on the other foot...we nearly got Harriet Meiers on the court :scared:

I get a kick out of the "strict constructionists" bullshit...or "activist" judges, yet that's sure what they wanted with Terri Schaivo and in banning rights for gays, women and hispanics.

Fortunately these losers don't have much say in this process...other than calling WJ and hate radio. Had their inept and corrupt leaders not lost credibility and the trust of the majority, they'd be on the verge of appointing another Scalito.
