Stephen Baldwin is a stupid piece of shit
Edited on Sat May-02-09 02:40 AM by JI7
Joy Behar is hosting Larry King's show and they are discussing gay marriage.

stupid asshole BAldwin said GOD WROTE THE BIBLE, the bible says marriage is between a man and women etc etc. someone needs to tell this fool that the bible isn't the law of the country.

another stupid ass is on claiming people who want to deny gays rights are being persecuted. the gay bashers are being persecuted. the whores who campaign against gay rights are being persecuted.

Joy Behar just asked this stupid asshole if they are about protecting marriage why don't they focus on Mel Gibson's failed marriage. hahahha

1. one word -- BIODOME.
People who interview this clod should raise the point AND show clips of his moments in the film - over and over and over again. Especially when he says stupid shit like God writing the Bible.

6.  Do you ever notice, with the sole exception of Jimmy Stewart, ALL RW
actors are untalented? And usually stupid? That is my own biased observation, but I honestly can't think of a really talented RW actor.

17. same goes for music which is why they are always playing music by liberals
at their events even if the musicans don't want them to.

even if you mention someone like Clint Eastwood who may be a Republican, but he certainly is not right wing and doing stupid shit like campaigning against gay marriage. and he has done stuff the wingnuts haven't liked.

but this is why they embrace fools like this miss california and anyone else who can be considered a "star" in any way. they have nobody.

even Jimmy Stewart would probably have been turned off by the wingnuts around today.

21. Clint Was Rockefeller Republican
More liberterian than radical right. That's probably why you see him as you do, and why he angered the radicals, as you said. He may be a repuke, but not part of the freak show.

26. The only other one I could come up with is Ron Silver,
who recently died. He was actually quite talented, but he got so weird a few years ago. He was a liberal activist, but then he became uber-conservative (one of those self-described 9/11 republicans). I will never understand that mind-set.

Someone told me this -- I'll have to research it. But he's okay as an actor. IMHO YMMV...

35. There are a few.

Like Robert Duvall, John Malkovich, James Woods. and Danny Aiello. Considering some of the roles he's played, James Woods is a total shocker.

Disappointing but eh, we aren't watching them, we're watching the characters they portray.

But the right wingers enjoy their shrimp cocktails, which is also called an abomination by Leviticus.

14. the NT makes (I think) 2 references to homosexuality
and neither are immune to interpretation it makes MANY MANY references very plainly against the lending of money for profit. Why they don't picket banks would be a mystery to me if I actually expected sense from people following a 2000 year old middle eastern 'morality' tale.

Thank god I live in a nation, that while just as full of morons and bigots, rarely if ever throws up the "it says in the Bible..." as an argument that is supposed to hold weight with anyone.

23. I love it! So when they say no gay marriage, you say, no usury either, huh?
Christ threw the moneylenders out of the temple...are we really going to let the Wall Street bankers go unpunished?

Nothing like derailing the conversation onto a whole other track.

They want to discuss homosexuality as an abomination? Hit 'em with every quote condemning usury.

You don't HAVE to have the conversation THEY want to have.

25. can't remember the exact figures
but I once read a great article about all the EXPLICIT denunciations of usury in the Bible, and it was something like a few hundred mentions to 2 about homosexuality. I'll see if I can google it up.

Imagine how different the world would be if the Christian lobby got as excited about the evils of money lending as they do about man lying with man

28. Yep, buffet-style christianity...
the bible also says touching the skin of a dead pig is a sin, so is eating shrimp (as you mention), wearing clothes made from more than one kind of fiber, and working on Sunday is a sin punishable by death.
My fundie dad and former boss would rather shoot themselves than give up Wal-Mart clothes, the Super Bowl, and working on Sunday (the more money made, the better). But homosexuality? THAT'S A SIN!!!:eyes:

31. They might CALL a football a pigskin, but it isn't
Wilson is the sole supplier of footballs to the NFL, and their balls are made from cowhide.

Yea, the wages of sin are death and all the fundies deserve death because, thanks to our modern era, you CANNOT avoid committing at least some of the sins outlined in Leviticus on a daily basis. Even 100-percent cotton clothes are sewn together with thread containing polyester because it's stronger.

18. Where the f*** does it say that marriage is between a man
and a woman only? It implies that homosexuality is "an abomination" but it is not even one of the Ten Commandments. Do they think anyone who has lied, stolen, or coveted their neighbors wife should not be able to marry? No, but those are the big sins, per the Bible.

Aside from the fact that we are a secular nation and no religion is supposed to dictate rules to us, their arguments don't even support the facts.

But some very contentious humans with an axe to grind wrote my book, the Old Testament. It really annoys me when Christians lay claim to my book. Especially since so few have read it.
