I went to a state fish hatchery Saturday

Over the weekend the family and I were gathered for a three-day visit to celebrate my fathers 90th birthday. I took some time out to take my wife and son to the nearby state rainbow fish hatchery. I signed the guest book after touring the hatchery. To my surprise the guy above me in the guest book wrote VOTE REPUBLICAN under comments. Why in heaven’s name would he do this when they are clearly wanting comments on the hatchery? Do they feel that will change people who plan to vote democratic to change their vote for the party that has screwed us over and over?

I really don’t get it! At the time I knew it was childish of me, but this prompted me to write IMPEACH CHUCKLE-NUTS BUSH on my comment line.

If the repukes had their way there would be NO fish hatchery, or if there was it would be run by Halliburton and charge 5 bucks a head to get in, plus another 10 a fish if you wanted to catch one in the stream later.

And he liked it. Willing to bet that some of those d--- Dem. in the state got the thing started. Or old time GOP from like 50 years ago. OK so I started the day in a bad mood. I read the front page of the NYTimes and felt ill.

5. He was trying to say (I think) that if you like fish hatcheries, vote Republican

because if you vote Republican always and for long enough and a majority of voters do the same, the only fish in North American rivers will be rubber trout from fish hatcheries.
