I hate it when nations "cull" animals. It's hideous. And often it is purely symbolic or a gesture to improve trade relations and create "trust" with a trading partner. I despise it.

The pork is going to be exported, so the only change is that these particular pigs are going to be slaughtered a day, week, month or year earlier than they would have been and world pork prices may take a bit of a hit for a while.
