And, the swiftboating of Michael Ware begins:
(I know I report alot of RW site info, but I can't seem to help myself...I love to look at those sites, it's like watching a train wreck, like looking at a totally different planet or something...so, here's another one:)

McCain heckled by CNN reporter
Sun Apr 01 2007 13:50:38 ET

**Exclusive**

During a live press conference in Bagdad, Senators McCain and Graham were heckled by CNN reporter Michael Ware. An official at the press conference called Ware’s conduct “outrageous,” saying, “here you have two United States Senators in Bagdad giving first-hand reports while Ware is laughing and mocking their comments. I’ve never witnessed such disrespect. This guy is an activist not a reporter.”

Senators McCain and Graham flew into Iraq and drove into Bagdad, making stops at an open market and a joint Iraq/American military security outpost before appearing at the press conference.

This is not the first time Michael Ware has taken issue with Senator McCain’s comments about early progress in Iraq. Last week, after Senator McCain told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that he needed to catch up on the news coming out of Iraq, Michael Ware responded, saying:

“I don't know what part of Neverland Senator McCain is talking about when he says we can go strolling in Baghdad.”

Michael Ware has also publicly expressed his views on the war last year in an interview with Bill Maher, saying, “I've been given a front-row ticket to watch this slow-motion train wreck … I try to stay as drunk for as long as possible while I'm here … In fact, I'm drinking now.”

12. It's the Drudge Report: Pseudo-Journalism.

Drudge doesn't have to tell us if Michael Ware interutped John McCain during the conference.

Drudge doesn't have to tell us what Michael Ware said at the conference.

All he has to do is print a headline that Ware "heckled" McCain and the right-wing idiots will swallow it.

4. Ware has been there four years.
Don't you think he knows better what is going on. McCain is only there a couple of hours and protected with myraids of layers of equipment.

7. They have a campaign to get CNN to fire Ware
They also hate him because they say he caused CNN to air a video of insurgent snipers aiming at American soldiers, that he was right there with the insurgents and did nothing to stop them from almost killing Americans...they say that he has "suspicious" ties to the insurgents.

As long as Ware continues to tell the truth, he will be swiftboated....they have a letter/email campaign to CNN to fire Ware. There is a whole website dedicated to it. So, Sludge + Campaign = Swiftboating.

8. After making the comment about McCain
Ware did change his story somewhat on the following evening to say that there were areas of Baghdad that were somewhat secure. I just figured a CNN producer got to him overnight and told him to tone it down a little.

9. I didn't think he said the areas were secure; he just agreed some areas had seen improvements.
But he wasn't suggesting we all go for a stroll.

10. Well.....which ever way he phrased it the second time he didnt make it sound as violent as
he described in the direct question about McCain's comment..And actually on the first broadcast when he was commenting about McCain he told Blitzer
"Why dont you tell Senator McCain to just come on over here and we'll walk down main street together" or something to that effect..Pretty funny and Wolfe didnt know what to say...

11. If an anonymous "official" criticized a reporter without specifics,
...then I guess the reporter should shut up and be obedient.

(sarcasm)
