CNN's Sanjay Gupta Single-Handedly Finds "Adorable" Patient Zero
Anyone else see superstar doc Gupta on Larry King this evening? He took a crew to La Gloria, Mexico where it is suspected a little 4 year old boy may be the first person infected with swine flu.

He sat in the child's living room and played with him. He called him adorable way too many times. He seemed just a bit too proud of himself, as if he put all the pieces together and FOUND this little boy - patient zero. At least that's how he reported it.

How about giving credit to the teams of scientists working on this Sanjay? No, didn't think so.

1. Sanjay is more of a talking head for the infotainment networks...
than he is a real doctor. So he had "MD" after his name - put him to work for one day in a hospital, and I'd bet he'd be lost.

2. He was so annoying. Normally he doesn't bother me -
but this was a bit over the top. Didn't he performed surgery in Iraq? I seem to remember that, so I guess he does have a valid license?

5. He did, he does, he is a neurologist
and that does not make him less annoying

Though the US trooper he helped save (nobody else in the unit he was attached ... err embeded with) was a neurologist, was probably happy Sanjay was there

4. Was he wearing surgical mask and everything?
What theater. What's it going to be next week? We've had pirates, ugly singers, swine flu, what next?

10. No, he's too brave for that.
Told Larry King he wears a mask if he's within 6 feet of someone he thinks might have swine flu (how does he know by looking at them?). He uses hand sanitizer and has Tamiflu if he gets sick.

15. From what I have been able to pull
they got a 60% infection rate, but nobody is sick NOW

Of course that would match standard

Unless it pulls a 1918 when the second pass is far more virulent

8. He's an Infotainment Super Star! But, I'm glad Obama didn't choose him
to be in his Administration...I hope he will hold firm on that decision.

11. Sanjay decided he didn't want to give up his gig with CNN.
I'm glad he didn't take the position.
