5. Sweetie, I looked at all the Texas counties during the elections.
Lotta land with no people. You can't vote if you moo. (At least, not in New York.)

4. Seems like they're trying to get 2 senators for each state
Not sure which political party dominates what part of the state but it would probaly result in more GOP senators.

8. Dividing into five states was part of the agreement when Texas joined the Union.
Or at least that's the way I learned it in Texas History in the sixth grade. It's scary to think of ten senators instead of two.

They could have 100 Senators but they wouldn't be in DC. They some how think they would still be Americans too.

After the civil war, it isn't clear that the "right" still exists. And actually, although they was some option along this line, each new territory would have to petition for admission on their own.

Then let's have Northern Virginia (aka the DC area) split up, since people are tired of having of having the Dixie part of the state hate them, while accounting for most of the Tax revenue of the State.

Let's also have Puerto Rico finally become a state, and of course, California could split along North and South.
