Then we'll have the neocons falling all over themselves trying to justify its use.

Excuse me, but I've got to submit to my daily harsh interrogation technique. If you ain't chokin', you ain't tokin'....

"Mmmmm. These are some yummy peanut butter cookies. I'd be happy to share with you, but you need to share some information with me first."

"Yes! Yes! I'll tell you everything! Just please give me some cookies!"

Morality aside, it's probably as effective as more orthodox "harsh interrogation techniques".

I want Ashcroft in jail. Period.

You used common sense. Now all we need is to have a media that does the same. The country gets what it deserves, unfortunately. Lots of stupid people in America. But there are lots of intelligent ones as well. We really have to get our voices heard.

Edited on Tue Apr-28-09 11:07 AM by Gregorian
Doing a search on Tommy Chong brought up some interesting stuff. Not the least of which was an interview where he mentions "Democrat Joseph Biden was the one who authored the bill that put me in jail.".

I don't have words to express my anger toward Ashcroft and his likes. They are scum of the earth. I lived all of my young adult life in fear of the law. I was a fugitive in my own country. I was alienated from almost everyone. All because I grew.

We're a messed up country. The wasteful energy that goes into prohibition that is nothing more than a distorted employment agency.

On a lighter note, I once worked at a company with a guy from Canada. He lived next door to Cheech Marin. One day Cheech came knocking at the door asking if he'd seen his Ferrari. Evidently he loaned it out to some kid in the neighborhood and hadn't seen it back yet. He is just as excellent in real life as in the movies.

Talk about bs. Utter hypocrisy. Drop bombs, but don't touch pot. I'll always remember Governor Pete Wilson's "Smoke a joint, lose your license" law. I was pissed! I can honestly say this issue has altered my life in a big way. And probably much of our society's.

I wear my Free Tommy Chong t-shirt to this day. :)
