Gun Matches Bullets in Craigslist Murder Case
Ballistics tests have made a preliminary match between the bullets that killed an aspiring model, Julissa Brisman, and a gun found in the home of Philip Markoff, who is charged with her murder here, a law enforcement official said Friday.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said investigators were still awaiting final test results.

Another law enforcement official with knowledge of the case said Thursday that a fingerprint found at the Rhode Island hotel where an exotic dancer was held at gunpoint last week also matches that of Mr. Markoff.

The official, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said the match ensured that Mr. Markoff, 23, would be charged in the Rhode Island attack. The victim, who had advertised services on Craigslist, told the police that she had been held at gunpoint by a man who demanded money but fled when her husband returned to their room at the Holiday Inn Express in Warwick.

8. It's already political.
You hear the POLITICAL debate about whether services like CraigsList should exist?

It's already political, so just re-frame it.

If The Young Republican Killer had been a member of ACORN, what do you think the MSM would be talking about?

3. I wonder as the evidence mounts if his fiancee (who he bought expensive presents from his gambling)
will continue to maintain he is a beautiful person who wouldn't hurt a fly.

6. I don't know how old you are or if you have a lover or are married, but
if you do/are, think back to when you fell in love. That person could do no wrong! The statements "starry eyed" and "Love is Blind" came from centuries of experience! As the evidence mounts, she will slowly be convinced, but I feel sorry for her. Learning something like this has to be harder than a broken relationship or even if he were killed in an accident. It's total betrayal of trust.

5. He obviously didn't watch enough of "CSI: New York"
He kept the gun and left a fingerprint behind? Dumb...but good in that he easily got caught.
