Video Shows Demjanjuk Walking Unassisted

CLEVELAND -- Newly released video of accused Nazi guard John Demjanjuk shows the 89-year-old walking without assistance.

The video, provided by the U.S. Department of Justice, shows Demjanjuk walking from a medical building to his car, on his own.

The video is from April 6, just days before U.S. Immigration and Enforcement agents took Demjanjuk from his home in a wheelchair.

The government gave two different videos to an appeals court, trying to prove Demjanjuk is in good enough health to be deported to Germany.

He faces charges in the deaths of 29,000 Jews during World War II.

for short distances but being out for an extended amt of time need a wheelchair. I am one of those.
