Sen. Grassley (Reich-Iowa): "We ought to expect everybody who's in government to be truthful"
Made the mistake of leaving on the boob tube following the final four BB game, and was subjected to the following pearl of wisdom on the local Action McNews:

Sen. Grassley: (Discussing Gonzo) Testimony that he was involved in whether so and so should lose their position. And he's told us otherwise, he's had nothing to do with it. Then that obviously isn't being truthful and we expect the top law enforcement officer in the United States to be truthful. In fact, for that matter, we ought to expect everybody who's in government to be truthful.

So, does this mean he will support impeachment of the entire Chimp administration, as I cannot think of one member who has NOT lied to the American people, with grave consequence, at some point?

They really should just change their name to the Hypocrisy party.

3. probably on his way to setting up this logic:
Since we expect everyone in government to be truthful, it is not necessary to ask them to be under oath, because they will tell the truth anyway...

4. Grassley is such a dunderhead. Of course people should expect
their government officials to be honest. He loses no points saying so.

I wish Iowans would turn him out of office. He bores me to bits.
