Millions have Single Prayer Health Insurance

If we get sick we say a prayer and just hope for the best.

I just say to myself that I don't have a choice. I have to get well. Fortunately, I usually do.

1. As an atheist, I haven't even got that.

Yesterday I relented and went to the doctor for severe pain I've been having and she sent me for a hip x-ray, suspecting I need to have the joint replaced. I have no idea why I agreed to it. I can pay for the x-ray, but forget the hip replacement which starts at about $60,000. Maybe if we get healthcare someday . . .

2. That's the thing. Why go get a bunch of expensive tests when

I can't afford the treatment anyway.

I just have to stay healthy. And when I'm not anymore I'll go out and find an ice flow to sit on - except that all the ice flows will probably be gone by then.
