Appearance wise, yes - she looks mannish is an insult, and it's used regularly to mark women as unfuckable - and therefore less worthy of respect, even if it's their political views we really object to. Not worthy of sleeping with (not attractive to heterosexual men) is a regular insult here in one way or another.

But in terms of behavior, one of the highest forms of praise for a woman even among DUers is still "she has balls."
