Freepers starting facebook pages to fire CNN reporter
Edited on Fri Apr-17-09 04:29 PM by K8-EEE
For the crime of questioning teabaggers about the reasons for their inflamatory signs & rhetoric.

In fact they have THREE OF THEM GOING ALREADY!

She already took a lot of crap from these people for her "outrageous" (read: journalistic) questions, including some shoving and screams from the dittoheads like "shut up, bitch!" etc. Didn't you notice those superior "Judeo-Christian values" on parade at the teabaggers balls? If you missed her attempted "debate" ("Why is Obama a 'fascist?' 'Because he is one...') here's the vid:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x297141

Not that I think they will have any success with this NEW tantrum but I think we should start a page supporting her standing up to these brownshirts. Their idea of "abuse" is having to explain their stupid, illogical charges against Obama. They just want every network to repeat their idiocy no questions asked.

I would start it but embarrassed to admit, I'm new to facebook and not sure how to start a fan page!

The more people SEE THE REPUBLICAN 'BASE' FOR WHAT IT IS....the better!

1. For those of us without instant recall
how about posting the reporter's name so if we are inclined to start a support group on Facebook, or search to see if someone already has, we can?

4. Oh sorry, Susan Roesgen
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_reporters/roesgen.susan.html

First time I've seen her too -- I would love to have her on as a guest on some free forum (Bill Maher?) to discuss what all went on that was "not family viewing!" They could air the freep-bleeps on HBO.

5. LOL!
This reminds me of the many times when out-of-touch people try to be hip and cool by adopting what the hip and cool people do.

This doesn't excuse the fact that they were boasting about tea bagging.

6. While I do not support the tea baggers or Faux, the CNN talking head was no angel
Lasted RW talking point on her is that she 2X previously turned down for a position at Faux. Nothing to back it up, but it is making the rounds.

Just because she took our side once does not make her a progressive or even someone we want to support or be affiliated with

7. Well I think that's called "looking for work" -- KO used to work for Fox
Are you kidding, when you are breaking into that industry you interview everywhere, I don't hold that against her -- but I wish she would have told Daddy Dumbass who was going on about Lincoln hating taxes or whatever that Lincoln started income taxes in the US to pay war debt & invest in the country....

10. Do the RW's rant about Glenn Beck looking for work at CNN and amazingly...
GETTING THE WORK? I still can't believe that one, he's such a dumbass! I mean I know why Fox would hire him to the Dumbass Stable but why anybody else would is beyond me.

15. you said there is no evidence for this and is coming from the right wing
so why act like it's true.

and what she said about the people at the protest is true . the things they say about any non Fox News media. Fox News itself has been spewing that crap. she reported a fact when she said what Fox News had been doing and the people at the event saying the same shit.

8. I worried for her safety while watching the report in question live.
The crowd wanted blood and cursing was rampant (re: her mention of the broadcast not being for children). The people she spoke with were for the most part ignorant of any real fact and angry at anyone who didn't agree with her.

13. She was poking the angry villagers with a sharp stick.
It's well documented that people do things in groups they wouldn't do by themselves. This created a perfect climate of mob rule. Challenging a drooling village idiot to logic was too much for them.

14. looks like some on DU prefer reporters "report" the way they did with swiftboaters
Bush warmongers, Obama is "fill in lie" etc

just let the liars spew their crap no matter how much evidence there is to show it's a lie.

18. I'm not sure what her job title is, but she's certainly not a reporter
Reporters ask someone a question, then let them respond. This woman interrupted the guy halfway through his answer and started editorializing the story. If you want to do that, fine, but do it under the guise of commentary, not reporting.
