CANIDAE AND FELIDAE PET FOODS
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FANTASTIC HEALTHY FOOD FOR YOUR PETS, CONSIDER THESE. I HAVE FED MY PETS THIS DRY FORMULA SINCE PURCHASING THEM FROM A BREEDER WHO HAD DONE EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON PET FOODS. THESE FORMULAS CONTAIN HUMAN GRADE CHICKEN AND TURKEY AND NO WHEAT. MY TWO HEALTHY AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD BOYS HAVE FANTASTIC HAIR COATS AND BEAUTIFUL TEETH. I TRUST THESE FORMULAS ABSOLUTELY. THEY ALSO MAKE WET FOODS. THEY ARE AVAILABLE AT SPECIALTY PET STORES AND FEED STORES, CANNOT BE PURCHASED IN THE SUPERMARKET.

YOU CAN VISIT THEIR SITE AT CANIDAE.COM

1. I feed my dog Canidae. I hope it's not involved in the recall.

9. Maybe it's easier for this person to see. Plus, I suppose if everything is
capitalized, you don't have to use the shift key to capitalize words like "i", or for punctuation reasons. Just a thought.

5. That's a great brand
my cats hate it, unfortunately-but they aren't easy to please. They eat Prairie Nature's variety freeze dried raw diet, which isn't made by Menu and is not involved in the recall. There are a number of great human grade, organic, wheat and corn free pet foods to be had out there. A google search will quickly reveal which ones are packaged by menu and which are not (CANIDAE and FELIDAE are not). I've also found that some items can be purchased online and shipped for less than my holistic pet food store sells them for.

6. That's what I use also, and mix in some Solid Gold Wolf King for ...
my bouviers. I supplement with homemade stew of chicken, pasta, rice, veggies, etc.
It is great food. I've been very happy with it, and am glad they were not involved in the recall. I really didn't expect that they would be, but you never know!

10. Montana Cowboy, i sold pet food for many years,
including all the brands being discussed here on DU, Nutro, Royal Canin, Solid Gold, Avo Derm, all of them, and the only food i will feed my pets is Felidae and Canidae. Let me tell you, pet food is a royal racket, and i must have sat thru 50 presentations from sales reps telling me why their food is the only food that matters. Taking the information from all of the reps and reading everything I could get my hands on, I really do believe that F and C are the absolute best you can buy for pet food. Obviously the best would be to make your own or do a raw diet, but realistically with a full time job, a (wonderful) child and a house to manage I'm not going to do that, so Canidae and Felidae are the next best, IMHO,

11. As of 6 days ago my Aussi is on home-cooked meals ...
and after throwing up yellow bile daily for almost a year I have to report since switching her to the home-cooking she has yet to heave, her stools are normal and she sleeps through the night without having to be let out. She had previously been on Nutro Natural, and PC Nutrition 1st dry kibble.
