11. Exactly,That's what's wrong with the whole 3rd grade psyche of
these right wing republican fools.

They have backed evey wrong idea that has been put in their ears. They have listened to these lies with the fear that they would lose something most of them have never had under a rich corporate global money hungry Bush Cheney lead government.

They think they have money and they think they have the right to over turn the rule of law in a democracy. They think that they will have their way and that they will guard their own whims to act like children in a world that has been neglected and abused by childlike greed and irresponsibility.

It's time they join the grownups know.Stop whining, and blaming those who are trying to take the reins and lead us out of this mess.

4. They'll look more idiotic when they learn what "teabagging" means; when they learn REAGAN's
Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 12:10 AM by LynnTheDem
tax rates were HIGHER than Pres. Obama's; when they learn today's tax filing was for LAST YEAR'S TAXES (ie GEORGE W. bUSH's tax rates); when they learn Pres. Obama CUT their taxes...

Oh hell, they really can't do anything to make them look more idiotic than they already do.

They're already so far over the curve.

7. They will never learn it....who's going to tell them, certainly NOT Fox news or the 90%
Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 12:17 AM by LaPera
republican talk radio lying hate-mongers, nor their republican politicians....they are sheep, they will NOT seek out the truth for themselves.

They will never learn it, nor would they ever believe it, they are full of hate and want to blame liberals, people of color, anyone, who they are told to hate, who doesn't look & follow as they do.

Divide & conquer keeps the republican party alive enough to steal and distort election....certainly it's not republican ideology which is simply corporate fascism.

13. Some are learning it. And they're checking into it. And they're leaving the
republic party in droves.

We have DU members who were republicans, until they started learning things, which they didn't at first believe. So they checked, trying to refute what they'd heard. And found Facts.

One at a time. That's "grassroots", baby! ;)

5. We'll need more stimulus and bailout, made more difficult with this Conservative stoking.
Let's hope the policies can fix the economy, and fast enough.

9. This protest was rage at the current state of the economy blamed on Obama.
Nothing less or more.

I can't/won't comment on this being a KKK type rally in disguise but I'm dead certain that today was all about the Rethugs successfully harnessing rage about the current economic upheaval into rage against Obama.

This could swell.

This could bode very, very badly for Obama if the Rethug powers-that-be can successfully convert a very real fringe public sentiment about vague threats like "socialism", and "anti-guns", and those that are very, very frightened about our (their) economic future - into "teabagging" protests. So non-intellectual, so broad, so generally 'against" the government....

Franky, I'm worried for Obama. There are a whole lot of gun-nuts out there positively stoked. Anybody been at an anti-war rally? You come home very energized. Ready to take on "the powers that be".

These are very, very crazy times. I truly fear for our president (and the rest of the US that may be exposed to right wing gun-nuttery).

10. They will insist that Obama had nothing to do with saving the economy.
They think the Great Depression would have been over by 1936 if Roosevelt had done nothing. They insist now that his policies prolonged the Depresssion. These people refuse to acknowledge the accomplishments of anyone who doesn't agree with them. But their numbers are dwindling.

12. they will just say Bush's economics saved the economy
Because this is all Clinton's fault of course. Or maybe Carter?? Not sure how long economic policies take to kick in.

:sarcasm:
