Arlen Specter not looking so good in 2010

Even though he may be the only Republican I can stand, he needs to go bye-bye. He'll be 80 by reelection, and it's time for a Democrat to take his spot. Specter's base in the Philly suburbs are gone and his Republican base hate him for not being 100% conservative.

5. Fuck him. He might have had a chance if he had supported EFCA like he once did.
But rather than being independent, he couldn't leave his Republican friends and they will throw him overboard.

7. Specter lost me years ago with his attempted annihilation of Anita Hill

in support of the brainless one, Clarence Thomas. He has often helped the Dems, which is a plus, and we can be sure Toomey will never, but we need a Democrat in that seat. Specter could have won the primary (probably) if he had done as the unions wanted. He has often supported them and they were willing to back him against the dem. He blew it.
